Who we are

SAVVI is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that began strategic commercial consulting in October 2006. We are a partnership, owned by Joe and Gail Smith and operated as a family business. SAVVI radiates high-energy because our people are passionate about what we do.The following are our core employees;

Joe Smith
CEO and Co-Founder

Brigadier General (Retired) Joseph A. Smith is a 32 year veteran of the United States Army and holds a Masters of Science from the University of Western Kentucky. Following retirement, he became the Executive Vice President for a multimillion dollar company and later he started a family owned company, SAVVI LLC. Joe has a special talent for strategic vision, team building, process review and executive management. In an effort to give back to the community he has served on several boards to include: corporate, university, foundations and NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel following the Space Shuttle Columbia accident.

Gail Smith
COO and Co-Founder

Gail smith is a military wife of 32 years and is a pillar for SAVVI ethics and values. She has been actively involved in community service for over 40 years. She organized family support groups for five separate combat deployments while raising three children. Gail previously served as the Senior Adviser for Community Foundation at Fort Rucker, Alabama and she is the past President / Master Gardener of the local Enterprise Garden Club. Gail is helping to expand Savvi by introducing our first product line Stitcharooni.

Chris Smith
Director - Reporting & Analytics

Chris has strong mathematical, six sigma, statistics and process improvement training. He has worked in the Project and Product management field for over 10 years. He is an expert with the Microsoft Office products and Visual Basics for Applications language. Chris excels at efficiency improvement through process automation and financial analysis.

Jason Smith
Director - Marketing

A graduate from the University of Tampa for Computer Graphics, Jason has over 7 years Marketing experience. His strengths includes Graphic Design, Web Services, Trade Show Management, Campaign Management and Marketing Research. He has 9 years of programming and administration experience with SQL and SAS (Statistical Analysis System).
